Who it is for
CIOs and IT managers at SMEs and mid-sized companies. Integrators who need an infrastructure architect on a client project.
Typical situations
- Your hosts are reaching end of support or your licensing model is changing, and you are torn between vSphere, Hyper-V and Proxmox.
- A single host failure stops production: no high availability, no tested recovery plan.
- Virtual machines keep piling up, performance drops and nobody knows what runs where any more.
What you get
- A target architecture (hosts, storage, network, backup), sized and costed.
- A migration planned in waves, with cutover criteria and a rollback plan.
- High availability and a disaster recovery plan that are tested, not just written.
- Operations documentation and procedures your team can follow without me.

Who it is for
Executives and CIOs preparing an Azure or Microsoft 365 migration, going hybrid, or regaining control of an existing cloud.
Typical situations
- You are moving to Azure or Microsoft 365 and want a cutover with no disruption for users.
- Your cloud bill rises every month and nobody knows exactly why.
- Your identities are scattered across on-premises Active Directory, Entra ID and shared accounts; security relies on goodwill.
What you get
- A target architecture, cloud or hybrid, with a clear split of workloads: what moves to the cloud, what stays.
- A migration plan in batches, with milestones, tests and cutover criteria.
- Secure identities and access: Entra ID / Active Directory, multi-factor authentication, access policies.
- Cost tracking: budget, alerts, clean-up of unused resources.

Infrastructure audit & diagnosis
A clear view of what holds, what is at risk and what to do first.
- Format
- Fixed price (one-off audit) or time and materials (technical expertise on a project) · Incident response
- Price
- On quotation
Who it is for
Executives who want an independent opinion before investing. CIOs taking over an estate. Integrators and software vendors who need technical expertise on a stalled project.
Typical situations
- You are taking over an undocumented IT infrastructure and want to know what you are stepping into.
- A supplier is proposing a major investment and you want a second technical opinion, independent of the seller.
- A critical incident keeps recurring and its cause has never really been identified.
What you get
- A factual assessment: inventory, versions, backups, security, single points of failure.
- A risk map, ranked by impact and likelihood.
- A prioritised, costed action plan that separates quick wins from deeper work.
- For an incident: a diagnostic report with the root cause, the fix and the measures to prevent recurrence.

Next service: After-sales expertise & support Back to contents
After-sales expertise & support
Support that solves at first contact, and customers who stay.
- Format
- Time and materials (level 3 backup) or fixed price (support structuring) · On-call on request
- Price
- On quotation
Who it is for
Software vendors and integrators whose after-sales service is overwhelmed. In-house IT teams missing a level 3. Support managers who want to steer with numbers.
Typical situations
- Critical incidents escalate to your best engineers, who now do nothing but firefighting.
- Your customers wait, tickets bounce between levels and nobody sees the overall flow.
- You have no reliable metrics: resolution time, recurrence rate, workload per technician.
What you get
- Level 3 expert backup on complex incidents: systems, virtualisation, integrations.
- A clarified support organisation: levels, escalations, priorities, on-call.
- Procedures and a knowledge base that technicians actually use.
- Management dashboards (ServiceNow, Jira, Power BI) and an improvement plan tracked over time.

Server sizing & hardware
The right hardware, at the right price, sized for your real needs and their growth.
- Format
- Fixed price · Independent: no supplier commission
- Price
- On quotation
Who it is for
Executives and CIOs at SMEs and mid-sized companies renewing their servers. Integrators who must size a platform for a client. Purchasing teams facing supplier offers that are hard to compare.
Typical situations
- Your servers are reaching end of life and you do not know whether to renew, virtualise further or move to the cloud.
- You have three supplier quotes and no way to compare them like for like.
- An application project is coming and nobody has costed the compute, storage and network it needs.
What you get
- A measurement of your real needs (load, storage, growth) rather than guesswork server sizing.
- Hardware specifications: servers, storage, network, backup, power.
- A like-for-like comparison of supplier offers, with a reasoned recommendation.
- Support with acceptance, hardware diagnostics and commissioning.

Application development
The business application you are missing, delivered with its code and documentation, rather than yet another spreadsheet.
- Format
- Fixed price per batch or time and materials · Ongoing maintenance
- Price
- On quotation
Who it is for
SMEs and departments still running a key process in a shared spreadsheet. CIOs who need to connect two systems that do not talk to each other. Executives who want a reliable dashboard.
Typical situations
- A critical process relies on a file everyone edits and nobody secures.
- Two software tools need to exchange data and entry is still done by hand.
- Management wants up-to-date metrics without waiting for the monthly report.
What you get
- A short specification, validated with you before the first line of code.
- A Windows or web application, delivered with its source code and documentation.
- Integrations and APIs between your existing systems.
- Dashboards connected to your data (Power BI, SQL Server).

- Knowledge sits in one person's head, and that person is going on holiday.
- Your customers call support with questions a training would have answered.
What you get
- A programme tailored to participants' actual level, not a generic course.
- Hands-on sessions, on your environment, remotely or on site.
- Reusable training materials and operations documentation.

Frequently asked questions
What is your actual availability?
I take on a limited number of engagements at once so I can stay genuinely reachable on each. The pace (days per week, time slots) and the start date are set in writing during framing.
Do you work remotely?
Yes. Most services can be delivered remotely: audit, architecture, cloud, development, level 3 backup. Based in La Ciotat, I travel on site across France, Europe and North Africa. Travel costs are itemised in the proposal, before any commitment.
Do you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes. I sign your non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before any access to your environment. Access is personal, limited to the engagement and returned at the end. No client reference is published without written consent.
Is there a minimum engagement size?
No. Half a day for a second opinion on a quote or a targeted diagnosis is well worth it. Fixed-price engagements are quoted after the discovery call.
What guarantees do you provide?
Written framing before we start: goal, scope, deliverables, schedule. Deliverables documented and validated together. For any migration, a rollback plan prepared before each cutover.
How do we get started?
You book a 30-minute discovery call. You describe your situation; I tell you whether I can help, and how. You then receive a written proposal within 5 working days. The engagement starts once the quote is signed.
Any other question?
A technical issue waiting? Let’s talk.
Thirty minutes to describe your situation. You leave with a first opinion and, if useful, a written proposal. Free and with no obligation.
